CESAR VARGAS, J.D.

Cesar Vargas is a nationally recognized leader and innovator at the forefront of the groundbreaking DREAM movement. Cesar brings a unique and varied government and political background that extends to the three branches of our government including experience in Congress, Kings County’s District Attorney Office, and the New York State Supreme Court. However, the opportunity to work with exceptional political and community activists is what brings real vigor to his experience. Cesar graduated with honors from the philosophy program at St. Francis College. A recent law school graduate, Cesar Vargas, quickly learned that his commitment to serve his community reaches far beyond the courtroom as he fights for others like him to be admitted as licensed lawyers. From New York to Washington D.C, he has actively been involved in the fight for the DREAM Act and immigration reform. In fact, he was one of the leading advocate during the 2010 lame duck session to push for the DREAM Act. Cesar was also the original drafter and advocate of a novel piece of legislation in New York State.[/toggle]

RYAN CAMPBELL, J.D.

Ryan Campbell

As compliance director Mr. Ryan Campbell oversees DRM’s compliance with federal and state lobbying laws. Further, he advises on congressional ethics rules and restrictions. Ryan has an extensive background in public interest advocacy reaching beyond the US. He worked in the Ecuadorian Amazon and Quito, Ecuador, to do research on the environmental rights on the Huaorani under Ecuadorian law. He volunteered at City University of New York School of Laws International Women’s Human Rights clinic, where assisted with legal research and interviews of sex trafficking victims as well at Libertas Center at Elmhurst hospital, a center helping survivors of torture apply for asylum and refugee status. Ryan graduated CUNY School of Law May, 2011.[/toggle]

JOHN CARLO VARGAS

Mr. Vargas has been behind DRM’s creative media. He will oversee a team in coordinating state and national marketing campaigns. He has launched successful campaigns for NYC small businesses enabling them to grow in new markets. He has extensive marketing and new media experience and is well versed in managing online marketing campaigns. Mr. Vargas is a graduate of the City University of New York obtaining a double major in Marketing Design & Econometrics.[/toggle] [/one_half] [one_half_last]

ERIKA ANDIOLA.

Erika Andiola

Erika Andiola is a former Congressional Staffer for Arizona Congresswoman, Kyrsten Sinema and co-founder of the DRM Action Coalition. Erika started her community organizing experience when she co-founded the Arizona Dream Act Coalition. She then served in the National Coordinating Committee and the Board of Directors for the United We Dream Network. Her personal struggle as an undocumented woman herself, with an undocumented family, has given her the drive and the passion to keep fighting for immigrant rights.[/toggle]

ERICK GARCIA

Mr. Garcia is the DREAM Action Coalition’s Webmaster and Technology Coordinator. His responsibilities vary from maintaining DREAM Action’s master website, implementing new technologies, develop microsites; coordinate the use of technology to connect DREAM Action with the community. He is in charge of moving the DREAM Action Coalition forward in this fast pace tech environment to fulfill the needs of our movement. He graduated from Arizona State University with a B.S.E in Computer Systems Engineering.[/toggle] [/one_half_last]
